I am so sorry to hear about Ruth's passing.  Ruth was a wonderful woman.  I always had a wonderful time with her and I will miss her a lot!

I had the pleasure of Ruth's friendship in the early 90's when I served as vice-chair of the Jeffco Republicans.  She was a trusted friend, who along with Idella Wilhite kept me from many a blunders.  Ruth was a dear lady with strong convictions.

 

My symathy to her family, I know you will miss her greatly.

George and I want to send you condolences. Ruth was a fantastic neighbor. Some memories I remember are going over one day because I saw that her side mirror was hanging down. She said OOPS I missed getting into the garage.

 

We would talk about that she and I loved American Indian pictures and jewelry. I brought my items that were my mom's and she would tell me about them.

 

When I was having a tough time she told me about the Serenity prayer and I wear a bracelet everyday with the saying.

 

I can remember coming home one day and she was out in the carport just finishing up sweeping and picking up the leaves in the area. I offered to help and she said that I did it all the time so let her do it for once and she did it more than once.  I couldn't get her to quit.

 

I will miss her support and her instant smile. George  misses the conversations they would have when he would bring the mail over.  

 

These are just a few memories of a wonderful woman and neighbor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am sorry that Dick and I are unable to attend Ruth's Memorial. We extend our deep sympathy to her family. We spent many hours on political endeavers with Ruth and Bunny Clement and Edna Stoddard. They were a great threesome to be around. Jane Spielman

The members of the Foothills Republican club extend our sympathy to all of the family of Ruth Hopper. She was an associate member of our group for so many years We enjoyed our fellowship with her and will remember her .

We mourn the loss of a good friend and advisor and will long remember her friendship,  Beautiful face,  and good advice.
